Good idea @Meowmy  when my tv blew up had spare one its 48cm lol 

can get antenna extension leads or plug ipad into tv to get bigger screen

each free to air channel has a site where can watch tv shows on internet @Meowmy  eg abc iview just google it.

i had success in past w hdmi cable from laptop using bigger tv screen as well plus w laptop could play dvds just buy some, dont watch  and keep for iso

also get books and dont read

if ask at newsagents can get free old newspapers just keep some to read. They give part of front page back if dont sell but have to get rid of the rest themselves so i went there at last place, got weeks worth of papers for crosswords for free lol 

also puzzlebooks magazines can subscribe to New Daily on yr email its e-news run by super funds they have quizzes at the end of the email they send everyday
