Thanks @Silenus.  The spring we go to doesn't have any where near as many bats and is smaller, but also less landscaped, wilder.  I'm told by my mate who's been over 20 years here that the crocs won't come in to where the thermal springs are because of the minerals in the underground source of the water.  I would totally freak if I saw one!

@Former-Member  How wonderful that you slept like that.  Sounds like you are appreciating your new home and your doggie is too.

The plan is for for a calm one ... but that's usually the plan, with very hit and miss success in the "calm" department.  Often, I just have a day ... as it, enough boxes got ticked to call it a day .... but it's still moving forward.  Legs still under us all.

Morning @eth. I have taken some of the positivity from being on this forum and used it to change the way I was thinking about this house. I was so scared and full of fear and anxiety before I moved in but I am feeling calmer now and trying to focus on the good things. How are you today?

I love that attitude @Faith-and-Hope. I hope you have a day that glides through. I don't know how you juggle everything but from what I've read I think you are doing an amazing job. I don't think I would cope with all four of mine back home. One is enough for now. It will be two again early next year when my intrepid traveller returns from overseas.

I've got a spit-fire D3 (as in spitting fire !) here with me at the moment.  She has had another screwed up menstrual cycle that has seen her have two "Day 2's" in the one week !!!!  Good grief 😳:face_with_rolling_eyes:😞. More time off school at a critical point 😳:face_with_rolling_eyes:😞 but we shall survive it !!! 😜😝😏

I haven't come this far to quit now ❣

Had enough of D3's crap for the moment.  She can stink here by herself for a little while, plodding on with her art assignment prep, cos anything encouraging I am trying to bolster her with is just getting shot down in flames.

Going for a nice, hot shower !!
