Community survey report summary

Hi all,

 

The SANE Forums Community Survey was conducted as part of the Co-design Project to gather insights on the benefits and challenges of our mental health peer support forums. The survey, conducted from October 2023 to March 2024, received 572 responses from diverse participants, including forum users and non-users. It was designed to build on and supplement the feedback gathered through this hub.

 

Key areas identified for improvement include forum design and usability, moderation practices, crisis support, and communication. The findings highlight the importance of anonymity, inclusivity, and enhanced user experience. Detailed feedback and suggestions will guide the implementation of solutions for a more integrated model of care across SANE programs.

Hey @espressologic Can this post and the link please be posted in the forums - not just here in the hub. There are some members not involved in the hub (for various reasons) that have shown interest in the co-design AND it would be great for everyone who is a member in our community to see what has been happening. 👍

Hi @Zoe7 for the moment we'd prefer to share it in here and invite any other member in to be able to view it rather than making it publicly available. This is because over the next few months, SANE and all organisations funded under the Commonwealth digital mental health program are preparing to bid in an open competitive process to maintain funding - this includes SANE Forums; so there are a lot of organisations either also working in this space or hoping to, who are looking to understand what others are doing. For this reason, we would like to use the closed group rather than public posts to share insights from co-design. Hope that makes sense. I have asked @tyme to post in the main area reminding members that they can join the codesign hub if they would like to stay up to date.
