Why MBT @peaceandsafety if you don't mind me asking? I think you are one of few people I have seen here on the forums who have specifically asked for MBT.
I've also finished an MBT course. I actually didn't know anything about mbt until I was admitted into the program and that's why your thread caught my attention.
I can't really describe what I 'learnt', but MBT did a world of good for me. It was the group aspect that was pretty sensational. It was tricky and the people I was in group with, let's say, weren't the easiest.... but the facilitators were great. There were usually 2 facilitators but at one stage, I had 3. Then there was the individual aspect which was also incredible.
My program was in Melbourne. I can't name the service, according to guidelines, but i believe this service is a research service that now also focuses on complex trauma and personality disorders.
Proud to say, I finished and graduated from the program and life's been great since. I'm living a life I never thought I'd be able to live. There were some people in my cohort who never finished the program due to their situation though, but I've come to know that the real work is done beyond the 18months.
Hope you find what you're looking for @peaceandsafety
