Re: Night Shift

Are you physically ill you mean @Drac0? Perhaps a trip to the GP would help tomorrow?

Re: Night Shift

Starting to feel a little better thanks @Former-Member. Well, physically at least. Stomachs settled & headache is gone. Hope to get some more sleep tonight & maybe get back into step with everything tomorrow (today).

Speaking of sleep, shouldn't you be doing some of that too. 🙂

Take care.

Re: Night Shift

@Former-Member How are you? WHat an interesting night......me and husband fell in bed after watching "The Chase," yesterday...at woke up at 7am this morning. My husband is still in bed.........

Thank Good ness @Appleblossom is around and she reminded me of how difficult it was in the divorce......oh golly....and your going through it right now.

It does get better...

Im being reminded how terrible my Dad was after my divorce..You will not have this time. You have left all that as well, you are so much stronger than most. Im not putting myself down. But Im thinking of the positives in your life.

The appiontment will be a positive LJ. It is scary...so much is out of your hands. I remember;

If you feel

this strong rod in your chest

that is strong and holding you up

when you meet them and

focus on

listen very hard....and smile

it just seems to be

a bit easier. You don't need to look them in the eye. That can be intimidating.

Try and speak in a little lower tone and that helps you speak a little slower.

Also, sometimes, I take notes and it keeps your hand busier. Actually, that might be a good idea.

I went to see my GP yesterday. I cannot believe how caring they are to me. I am so lucky. They are checking how to get me to see my Psychotherapist for free on a .....program. I am so surprised and happy that Im been taken so seriously.

My darling Arlo was delighting all the clients while I was waiting......it was SO CUTE.

Care to you for today and please secretly cuddle your little children, If I was with you Ide get your home clean and didnt @NikNik say that she would help out? Jeepers Kreepers....it gets better......xx

Re: Night Shift

Oh @Former-Member that brings me sooo many memories , I used to do child care in my home where I would have 7 children for the day to look after

how are you ??

Re: Night Shift

Hello @PeppiPatty, how are you , thank you for your message

been a busy day today , finished work at 2-30 and we had a cup of coffee and a rest -- still a bit tired , but feeling ok

Re: Night Shift

I am a fan of warm ups. @Former-Member I had never done "Rubber chickens" until last year.  It was fun and the chorister ... also a head of choral music in some swish school, was interested to see how we grown ups could handle it.  Most people seemed to enjoy so they cant be too stuck up.

@Shaz51 In some ways it is great that you and hub can pace yourseles and take breaks as needed.  I had been pushing for a few days and needed a nap today, but I am ok now.

@Drac0  We have the topsy turvy sleep patterns in our house.  These days are better than a couple of years ago though.

Take care
