Hey Everyone,
among other things in this discussion, we talked about the importance of having pride in our accomplishments and achievements, so running with that theme, what I would love to hear, from anyone who would like to share is this- what is one thing you are proud of? @Blackbird11 @Captain24 @Glisten @Patches59 @Snowie @Adge @RiverSeal if you'd like, it could be more than one thing, and if you were present in the live chat and shared something there, you're also welcome to reuse that 😊

I am proud of the young adults my children are turning into. Something positive in my life atm.

@TideisTurning and everyone else, first two things that come to my mind are things I did quite some ago which were both accomplishments
- hand sewn single bed size patch work quilts made for 2 younger cousins
- 2 wooden dolls houses plus furniture which were constructed, painted and decorated in different colour schemes for daughters of a friend

Thanks @TideisTurning I might share the same as I did on the night which is that I am proud that I and expecting to graduate with my Diploma of Community Services in November. Big achievement considering I hadn't really studied previously to starting TAFE back in 2018 and now I have a few qualifications under my belt.
I really enjoyed the PGC so keep up the good work! ❤️
Take Care

Pride brings up unexplainable emotions in me. I come from a background where it is important to be humble. I now see pride lifts up confidence in myself and it is a healthy feeling. So one thing I am proud of is letting go of the belief that being humble is the only way.

@TideisTurning I’m proud that I chose life. I’m proud that I asked for help. I’m proud that I chose what was best for me. I’m proud that my Rebel chose happiness in the face of adversity.

Wow! So many wonderful accomplishments, achievements and points of progress to be proud of. Consider this a virtual round of applause @Glisten @Patches59 @Snowie @RiverSeal @Blackbird11
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
@Blackbird11 thanks also for sharing the difficulties you've had with pride. it can certainly be a nuanced emotion with both pros and cons. It is up to all of us as individuals to try to balance these and decide the place of pride for each of us. It sounds you're well on your way to doing this!
