Self-Improvement

While improving ourselves or putting ourselves before is considered selfish, it isn't inherently selfish; it's often the opposite. By becoming more self-aware, emotionally intelligent, and capable, we can show up better for others—whether in relationships, work, or community. When we invest in our growth, we gain tools to help, support, and inspire those around us. However, it can become selfish if it turns into self-obsession or comes at the expense of others’ well-being. The key lies in balance—growing for our sake and the greater good. Personal growth can be a gift to both ourselves and the world.
