I like the city, the like bookshops, I like the quality time with my D, but I feel exhausted already! @Snowie there is a cotton on outlet store I like to go to too. I need a granny cart. Books and Lego are heavy to carry!
Hope tomorrows ECT goes ok.
great start @tyme ive heard the springs are tricky to get back on! I still need to do mine, but not a priority.
im working on some cricut desk calendars. It’s a lot of work. I’m using ones that someone else has already made up, but I’m editing and customizing them. I can’t imagine the amount of work that goes into them to make from scratch. I can’t seem to select the layers that I want so I have to move it all and then it gets out of place.
I pinned some Christmas bunting tonight. We are making some up to sell at market cause so many people asked about the one I made last year.
I did lots of tidying today. My journal supplies and then my desk downstairs. I put some drawer locks on cause my D likes to take my sticky tape and stuff.
oh and is there an issue with notifications at the moment? I haven’t got any emails today at all. Which is annoying.

Oh! So it's you too! Looks like notifications are glitchy tonight. I've asked IT to have a look at it, so see if it resolves itself. If not, we are looking into alternatives @Bow Please keep me updated with how the notifications go. I always turn mine off so I never know. If the glitches continue in the next few days, can you add it here?
It would be so great to see your cricuit projects. I really can't wait until I fix this one. BTW, when I bought replacement rollers, I bought the set which meant the screwdrivers etc come with it. BEST thing I did because it would've frustrated me to have to find all the right sized tools for the billion different types of screws!
I'll let you know how I go with 'fixing' mine
That's funny that you have to lock all your craft stuff away your D doesn't get to them.... kids... @Bow

It’s only been today @tyme but yep will let you know how they go. Question? Do IT hang around 24/7? Or is it kinda outsourced to a company?
I’m excited to see how the calendars turn out. I’d imagine that as we get closer to the end of the year a lot more people will do them and it will be much easier to make. I found a cute cat one, but it’s from 2024. So I have to replace the actual calendar part for each month which is so time consuming and annoying.
Yeah… D takes all my card stock to make her dragon puppets. All my glue and sticky tape. Scissors! I buy her all her own things, but she puts them somewhere, uses them, or leaves the lid off. Kids! So I’ve hide all my good paper and put all my other good stuff in a couple of drawers that I put locks on…. I had a lockable drawer… just one of them sticky ones… but she learnt to just pull it off! So I got new ones that I screwed in! Try now girl!

It's a bit of a tricky one to answer.
1) We have an external IT org that we can contact 24/7. They have remote access to our laptops and can sort passwords and that tech stuff out.
2) We have another IT organisation we liaise with for this forums platform we use
3) We have another IT org that manages the moderation software that has been built into the forums platform
4) Then another IT org on which all our data is stored
5) Another IT org that manages staging and production on the forums.....
So yeah, depending on the need, we go to different sections. Most wont' answer now, but one did tonight for the email issue and has offered a suggestion for us to consider for the future (a growing platform).
So essentially, YES, we have 24/7 access to IT people, but it depends on the issue as to whether we get answers.
Phew! That was a long one!
And with your craft stuff, it sounds so exciting! The kids here are so spoilt. They have so much of everything that they don't care. I've got more than 100 gluesticks so they don't care what and how much they use. They've got every type of marker under the sun.... hence I don't lock anything up. Too spoilt. It's bad. They don't realise how much they have.
You're D sounds so amazing @Bow

we not long got home and I’m in my comfy clothes and on the couch. Bit sore and tired.
i found a couple of new Alice books to add to my collection. Found some cool journal books full of pretty paper, stickers and things to cut out and use in my junk journal. And I got some Lego 😁
how are you both?

It sounds like you had a great day @Bow Did d enjoy herself?
My mum used to take us to “town” in the school holidays usually to the museum or art gallery. It’s a great outing especially when you catch the train.
