Re: Running

Please let the newsletter team know @avant-garde !

@Ru-bee @rav3n , please see @avant-garde idea above 🙂

Re: Running

@tyme

All I wanted was people from my church to invite me over for dinner... to not judge me on the take out bags in my car... when quality time is your love language and you're too busy packing up and trying to figure out where you're going to sleep that night... I just needed someone to give me the time of day... to care... tell me they're thinking of me... offer to do my laundry or let me use their machine... have a cup of coffee with me...

Re: Running

Awww @avant-garde ,

I guess this is beyond my comprehension because in my church, people drop in to stay all the time or the church helps people find places to stay., and give them food, clothes etc. They would never just leave them without shelter or food.

So what you are sharing is so foreign to me.

Re: Running

@tyme

They trusted Delilah had it all sorted...

I had "savings" to pay for accommodation

Delilah was why I was homeless

I think I'm done talking about it

Re: Running

Re: Running

oh i love that idea for the newsletter @avant-garde!! i've noted it down, would it be apart of the 'hacks and facts' or is that a separate topic?

Re: Running

@rav3n

Separate, I'd like to only do one piece, either hacks and facts or this one for the upcoming edition. I don't mind which

Re: Running

sounds great! we were thinking of limiting it to one topic per person as well so that works perfectly for us too @avant-garde we'll reach out via email after July 1st and maybe then you can let us know which topic you'd like to do for the first newsletter. i'm so excited for those topics!!
