Hey @kase,
I completed my psychology degree back in 2020. This is for a graduate certificate. I am unsure if I can say where I am studying due to privacy. But the course I am taking is a postgraduate degree. Once I finish the grad cert I move on to do the masters!

It is funny you should say 'move'. Because I will be moving, I am currently looking for new accommodation!
Do you feel like sharing your special interests here?

Ooo so exciting!
I just moved out of my parents (again… I moved back in when I was getting diagnosed with ASD #expensive!)
so moving is actually such fun! Wishing you lots of good luck with the move!
I was studying environmental science (Batchelors) for 2 years, but didn’t end up finishing due to mental health related issues.
Now I’m diagnosed I can start working on burnout/stress/anxiety, so that when I do go back I know how to manage it.
I used to be obsessed with Taylor swift, still love her, just moderately now! I like gaming (Stardew, sims, and minecraft obvs), I think a fascination with psychology is just something natural to someone with ASD, I love learning about the brain, and I think science is pretty cool! Also love cleaning, relaxes me! (But only when I’m the one to motivate me, not other people!)
I used to have a lot more, but my personality has been dulled over the years. Looking forward to getting back involved in those interests I used to love!
what are your special interests!

Hey @kase!
I understand that sometimes life gets in the way of our studies.
I totally agree, moving house is fun. Like you I also love cleaning - it is so therapeutic. I absolutely love cleaning my room.
My special interests are considerable:
1. Taylor Swift!
2. Writing - I write poetry, short stories, I love writing in my diary too. I also have a blog.
3. Video games - yes I love MC too, and I love SDV!
4. Walking
5. Movies
6. Collecting Pokemon cards, books, movies, Hot Wheels and Pop Vinyls.

We have so much in common!
I used to collect pop figures from my favourite shows. You like Pokémon? Do you trade cards with people?
and poetry!! That’s so interesting! You must be good with words! I’ve always wanted to experiment with poetry, but never had the courage to write down my thoughts directly.
Do you perhaps like reading too?
I’ve been getting into the classics as of late. I picked up the book “Lolita”, without reading further then a few words. - beautifully written, but not my favourite… have you got any good recommendations?

We definitely do! I find that I have a lot in common with all my IRL neurokin.
I absolutely adore Pokemon my friend, my favorite Pokemon is Dragonite.
Yes - I am something of a wordsmith. Yes, as a writer I have to read a lot of stuff, I read very widely. I read a lot of poetry, I love the poetry of Wordsworth, Henry Lawson, and Banjo Patterson.
I've seen the movie Lolita! It's awesome!

Yeah Ikr! A very well written book, and I’m lead to believe it’s pretty accurate too. It’s compelling to read, but also very psychologically demanding.
Thanks for the recommendations! I’ll look into it!
im currently reading “sunrise on the reaping” as well (hunger games), all the media buzz has intrigued me. (Plus reading is supposed to be good for mental health!)
its great that you have neurodivergent friends in real life too! I should really try and make some friends that are “nuerospicy” haha.
I played pokemon a while ago, my favourite was the fire Pokémon that you get at the beginning of Pokémon sapphire (charmander?) (my bubby)
I should get more into it haha!!
