recovery

Hello to those who read this post. Enduring an illness requires a return to Faith, Trust, and belief, in yourself to relieve the anguish and pain of any suffering.

Be patient for it does not happen overnight. The true path to healing is purpose, structure, and humbleness.

It is always a pleasure to write on this forum. I just hope I will continue as I know best.

Others must feel free to expand their wealth of knowledge in a constructive way.

I welcome those who wish to share, stories, jokes, and especially experiences.

Kind Regards

Wordman.

Re: recovery

Hello. Thank you for your kind encouragement. I find it nourishing. I find strength in such kind comments.

I can share a story. I was once visiting Acland street in ST Kilda. I was sitting on the edge of a large pot plant, eating a bread roll. I suddenly heard a crashing sound which immediately made me turn my head to see what was it that crashed and broke to pieces. A  fellow saw my reaction and spoke to me. He was angry at me and took out a sharp object which he placed to my throat. He said a few words. I remained still and silent. This occurred for about 20 seconds.

He took the object away. He proceeded to apologize. We hugged each other and I went on my way.

I told my psychiatrist this story.

His response was far from useful.

Kind Regards

Re: recovery

I find strength in your words too 🙂 @wordman

Wow what an experience! How did you feel?

A hug at the end of it too.. I guess everyone has the ability to care

Would you say? @wordman

Re: recovery

It was terrifying. The right outcome occurred. I know how I progressed in my life since this incident.

You are right to mention the hug.

Yes there is goodness in everyone.

Re: recovery

Hello Fluffylight.

I learnt who to believe and who to trust in my life. I recited something in my head during my incident. It lead me to understand that there is only one true path in life. I have followed my conviction until now. I will continue to follow my conviction. I have been allowed to flourish in many a materialistic way. I do maintain a minimalist lifestyle now. my home is modest. my job is extremely satisfactory. My ambitions are currently being fulfilled. Life is wonderful. Life is expansive. Life is the essence of our being. Master the art of living well and you can overcome a lot of struggles.

Kind Regards

Wordman
