how likely is it for someone to contract illness from going to sit at the hospital emergency department with their client. they wore a facemask, gloves, sanitized and washed their hands. they didnt have direct contact with actively sick people and saw no vomit or faeces. is the likehood of them getting sick really near impossible like a pharmesist told me it is I'm so freaked out I keep going to im better of nor being here thoughts and that it would be easier for everyone if I just went away.

Hi @Mikd I'm sorry I didn't see this earlier. Given the information, I'd agree with the pharmacist you spoke to. How are these thoughts sitting with you today?

hey @Mikd i can hear how worried you are about potentially being contaminated.
i agree with your pharmacist too. i do get that the anxiety might be hard to settle, do you have any calming/soothing tools that work for you when the ocd spiral gets set off? whether that's smelling a certain scent, taking a bath, taking a nap, wearing cosy clothes, etc.?
hoping you feel better soon 💙
