So what you're saying @Sparky79 is that 50Hz, hurts?
Bahaha but also thank you for dropping your knowledge, maybe this is why my bathroom fan irritates me to no end but I can tune out a dryer. Frequencies!!

@Sparky79 👀 Umm same. I spend a lot my time fixing other people’s building projects and doing other people’s tool and appliance maintenance.
I hate blunt knives :kitchen_knife: and shovels Love an oil stone.
Sparky79 said (lmao I was going to say "I hate broken things" but that would mean I hate myself and most people).
You say that like it’s a bad thing 😇
I see it as motivation to evolve.
The only constant thing in life is change.
Is it possible to build a dwelling with no high pitched hum noise?
If I turn off the mains power will this noise stop?
The sound is really starting to hurt.

@Sparky79 Go with your good self! More power to you. The best part about fixing yourself is, you choose the pieces of you, that you like. 😊
You can replace the pieces you don’t like, with something that serves you better.
That is my experience. I’m still going through my evolution process.
It is exhausting. I need more sleep.
My son’s in-laws are Chinese Buddhists. Amazing temple outside Brisbane.
I’m currently living in a dodgy A-frame on friends’ property.
Architecturally designed for snow ⛄️ Not 47 degrees in summer 🥵
No storage. None. 0.
Ever built storage in an A-Frame? It sucks.
The hum is in the walls of my bedroom at the top of the A-frame. Above the Saddle storage/ Workshop.
It’s the only part of this building that I hear the hum.
Got to get me some earplugs that are comfortable for sleep.
Give me a holler when you have a breakthrough, epiphany or when you get to implementing Boundaries.
Honestly I wish there was a Re-education facility. Where I could live and immerse myself in reprogramming my unconscious/subconscious mind.

@Jynx are you living my life? Haha
We also never use the big lights. Working from home has helped so much as I can control my environment. The sun is so bright, I need my sunnies, and will wear them in the shops too.
Sound. Misophenia is rampant here. I could never be in the same room as my brother when he was eating breakfast. In January this year we travelled together, at 43, I still cannot be in the same room whilst he is eating. I don't leave the house without my noise cancelling headphones, it's so loud out there!
Smell - My sense of smell is supersized, and, I'm not a fan.
Touch - I HATE people touching me. Always have. Mum said even as a baby I was so stiff and uncomfortable when being held.
Taste - I never considered myself a fussy eater. However, I can't eat reheated food - especially chicken. I am so sensitive to preservatives and artificial colours and ingredients.
I should add I also am a migraine sufferer, am Autistic and have an autoimmune disease.
Thanks for this question, seems we are all sensitive beings!

Thanks for sharing @Aqualemonade yes we are indeed a sensitive bunch!!
UGH the misophonia struggles are so real!! My dad eating is STILL enough to make me implode lol I totally feel you on being stuck in small spaces or having to eat separately!!
Used to have a coworker at another job, he'd smack his lips.... I dunno if it was habit or if he just needed more water but oh my stars it used to drive me bonkers... every 5-15 seconds or so. Sometimes it's grossness, sometimes it's the unpredictability of small irritating sounds lol
