Feelings do change from time to time ... it is great that you are starting to exercise and have found a friend .... do you know how to challenge negative thoughts?

Hi @Jamc. I don't think we've met before on the forum but I've read some of your posts. Do you mind if I ask are you receiving any kind of counselling at the moment? I wonder what supports are happening for you. Feel free to tell more of your story to me as you feel comfortable, or not. I hope it helps that there are a few of us on the forum listening and caring.

Go ahead here if you feel like it, @Jamc. Or consider finding a counsellor of some kind, GP, etc. Sounds like you are a bit up and down. I'm here for a while if you want to talk more.

@Jamc I think you already know that everyone online here except for the moderators are also struggling with mental health. Let me tell you a bit about myself while you are thinking about what you might like to say. I'm 53, am being treated for bipolar, have always felt more on the depressed end of the scale but can be up and not appear depressed to people. In fact, I was really a big bisexual party girl at one time in my life and still have the party in me at odd times. Getting some support here on the forums and from mental health professionals has helped me deal with the extremes of my emotions I think. Do you relate to any of this?
