What I've noticed and come to realise when being diagnosed with depression and PTSD. It doesn't just effect your mind. Your whole body is effected too. I used to go to the gym, walk my dog everyday before she drowned in the Lismore flood. Socialise more but I seemed to have lost my spark. I look at myself in the mirror now and I see trauma in my eyes.

Hi @Rosie1st
That's a really important observation, that mental health struggles don't just affect one's mind, but can really impact multiple aspects of our wellbeing.
I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your dog, and the loss of countless other treasured things that would have been taken in that flood.
It can take a long time to recover from something so traumatic, so while your spark isn't there right now I hope that it can return one day. Maybe reaching out here is one small step towards getting it back in time.
