Re: Night Shift

Hi @lisajane,

I hope things are better for you, only one more day before you get a break, I hope you are managing, it is so sad for me to see you struggling so much, you deserve better.

I will see about seeing another psychiatrist.

Try and get some rest tonight @lisajane, I hope you manage to get things sorted soon.

Hugs

Jacques

Re: Night Shift

Hi @Former-Member, I was thinking of you today. Sorry you are struggling so hard with not enough results from the effort you are putting in. I remember you talked a while back of cutting out one of your medications. Do you think this has helped, hindered or made little difference at this point? Feel free to answer this personal question or not, as you wish. Are the cats still giving you some pleasure? Reading? I sometimes wonder if there is enough simple fun in your life. Sending gentle good vibes your way.

Hi too to @PeppiPatty@Appleblossom. Sending fond wishes and thinking of you both while you're not posting here as much.

Hi @Jacques@BlueBay, hope the evening treats you well.

Did you make it out today, @eth? I went to the GP, had a B12 injection that was overdue, got myself on a waiting list for colonoscopy, and started the ball rolling on being referred about my chronic sore throat. Spoke to her about the sleeping issues. She recommended I take the medication my psychiatrist also suggested to help ease the troubled dreams. I'm always reluctant to add to my medications but will give it a try tonight. It's normally taken for blood pressure but has the added advantage of reducing hot flashes and agitation, both of which I experience. Hope it agrees with me.

Evening, @Silenus@Decadian@Shaz51@Faith-and-Hope, everyone! Hugs and good stuff your way.

Re: Night Shift

Thanks @BlueBay, @Jacques, @eth & @Mazarita....

@Mazarita - I reduced the antipsychotic over 3 months ago... I reduced it 3 times last year & I always had to wait until my mood, anxiety, paranoia etc stabilised before I reduced it again. I feel frustrated it is taking so long to stabilise this time around. I don't want to be on medication.
Yes, the kittens give me pleasure - although I don't have much of an attachment to the boy. The two girls are beautiful & are probably helping keep me alive.
I still haven't started a new book - I'm going to order one on Monday when I get paid. I tried to order Cloudstreet from the library, but I must of entered my card number incorrectly & I just got discouraged... I should try again tomorrow.
I also try to water the garden, but half the time that is too much for me too....
I just watched a John Grisham movie - The Chamber... A friend gave me a 2 month trial to Quickflix, so enjoying some free entertainment - mainly House.... Definitely going to cancel before I have to pay though.
Still have toothache - going to ring again on Monday. See if I can speed up the process of at least getting my two rotten bottom wisdom teeth out... My sister said her husband had to wait 3 months to get his wisdom teeth out. That will drive me to a nervous breakdown....
Geez, I'm exhausted... Wishing everyone health - will give more back when I have energy... Going to try to sleep now...
Namaste,
A

Re: Night Shift

Hi @Mazarita Good on you for getting to the GP appointment and covering so many topics with them. Hope the new med gives some relief.
I ended up taking a neighbour to a clinic then watching a movie over at her house - put the other things off til tomorrow. Then tonight my main man came for dinner. So overall it was a positive day. Hoping we both sleep better tonight.
