Hello @Kurra how are you? My name is PeppiPatty..... I am a long time subscriber here and hope that you are getitng help out of this online forum. What is good about this forum is that it is moderated and so, we are safe in our messages, not to stigmatise others.

I get that this is your daughter? Yes, my oldest son cut contact with me last year. It was terrible.

t's just good that we both have this. I write a card to him occasionally as about 5 weeks ago, he actually gave me his address where he lives on the other side of Australia.

It has certainly been an incredibly difficult time. There's not a day goes by when I don't think about my daughter. It troubles me greatly that she appears to be so very angry and bitter. She has never shown this type of behaviour previously. It seems as if her desire to hurt is calculated and deliberate.

Her husband sent me their address a few days ago so next pay I hope I can afford a card and the postage.

I've got a few unavoidable but big expenses coming up in the next few days and I'm well and truly scraping the bottom of the barrel. I'm hoping some sort of miracle hapoens.

I believe I used to buy them from Coles supermarkets (haven't for a while now) but somewhere like Matchbox might stock them too.  I would try supermarkets or party supply shops first.  They might be able to direct you to somewhere else if they don't have them, or order them in for you.

Of course you are bawling your eyes out - your daughter is being difficult - she's human and so are you - so there will be misunderstandings
