In a bad mood

In a bad mood

I've been in a bad mood since yesterday morning.

Felt bad for no reason, started missing someone who died last year, then got some bad news at work. My parents left some wine in my fridge that I'm not allowed to get rid of, and I hate wine but last night I had a sip because apparently my dad thinks it's a really good one so I wanted to give it a chance if I'm not allowed to throw it out or cook with it. It was disgusting but gave me the urge to go buy some better alcohol.

Today there was an open inspection of one of the units in my block and my mum wanted me to look at it. However instead of just going inside, they wanted me to go outside, join the queue in the sun, then provide my details before coming in. It annoyed me so much that I just turned around and went back to my unit. No problem with providing details (except I'm sure they'd spam call in like an hour's time being like "Sooooo are you interested in the unit?") but I'm not lining up in the sun just for that. I hate real estate agents in general. And they think they can speed-walk faster than an Olympian, saying it's only a 5 minute walk to shops - more like 17 minutes you asshats.

On top of that garbage, I suck at learning tricks on my bike which is the one thing that I've felt motivated to do and I can't even do the most basic trick. I'm so useless.

Hey @TheVorticon Long time no see ...

I agree with you about real estate agents ....

Keeping a bike upright is a challenge for me these days ... forget the tricks ...lol

Re: In a bad mood

I agree with your woes @TheVorticon in terms of real estate agents. I hate having to provide my ID when looking at a house. So much so, I don’t even go inside.

i never remember it being like that before covid. Am I right?

im sure they have their reasons, but I don’t like it. I can write down a phone number but I don’t want to show them my licence - how many are liars??? What are they going to do with my info.

@TheVorticon , I’m on the same page as you.

i had my own disgruntles today. I had a $50 store credit from a takeaway place. I lined up for ages and when it was my turn, they said they couldn’t find my credit note. After ages, I said don’t worry, I’ll order xyz and I’ll pay. They said, no, you need to line up again. I said, forget it, and drove off.

ended up at maccas, went through drive thru, got my meal, went home…. When I opened it, It wasn’t even remotely near what I ordered! I ordered nuggets and they gave me 2 burgers. I don’t even like their burgers!!!

not happy tonight.

Re: In a bad mood

Then when I got home, I was in a foul mood.

Then the eldest kid asks, ‘where do babies come from???’

hrmmmm…..

@TheVorticon

Take care hun. You’re not alone.

Re: In a bad mood

Argh @BPDSurvivor all of that sounds so frustrating. That makes no sense that you should have to line up again, and such a bummer about the maccas order being wrong, either cause it was someone else's order or they punched in the wrong thing for yours.

And what a question to come home to. I hope your night has been improving a bit, and that we both have a better day tomorrow.

Re: In a bad mood

heya @TheVorticon ,

What’s on the agenda today? I’ve got a lot of cleaning to do. Actually, it’s more tidying winter/summer clothes and linen.

hope your day today will be better 😉

Re: In a bad mood

Today certainly didn't go to plan. But hopefully tomorrow.
I hope your tidying stuff went well @BPDSurvivor.
