Re: Where do I start

Hello @lillylavander, I just wanted to quickly pop by and welcome to the forums.

Thank you for sharing your own experience here, it sounds like it's taking a lot of courage to confront your past, but it's admirable that you've recognised that this something that needs to be done to move forward for your family.

It's completely okay for your views and experiences to differ from other responses on here, everyone's coming at it from their own personal experience, though because often we have members speaking from their own experiences it could be a bit hurtful to have it be suggested that their posts are coming from AI.

Though, having said that I know lots of people find ChatGPT to be a great source of emotional support, so maybe it's a compliment!

Re: Where do I start

Hello and thank you for your kind response.

It was mean't as a compliment, and I'm sorry if it didn't sound that way.

Re: Where do I start

That's okay @lillylavander tone and meaning can sometimes get a bit lost in written form, that's why I just wanted to clarify. Honestly I myself have been mistaken for AI on here before because I responded very promptly, and I was pretty flattered 😄

Re: Where do I start

So I saw my mental health gp today and he has added a medication to all the pills I'm already taking. Here is hoping it works.

Re: Where do I start

Ok here is a spammer into the works.
the new medication can cause Steven Johnson syndrome which can be fatal. I have had Steven Johnson syndrome previously with a different yet similar medication which landed me in hospital. Do I risk it?

Re: Where do I start

Oh, that’s tricky @snowflake231. I have no idea what that is. Is there any way you can re-check by email or a call to reception at your gp practice? That’s so complicating to have that worry following on from the apparent positive of a new med that might help improve things. How are you going?

Re: Where do I start

So I looked it up, and that possibility would worry me, too. I wonder if your new med is in a family with / related to the other med that caused that reaction for you?
