Hi @understanding

I just wanted to reach out to offer you some support ๐Ÿ’œ

Thatโ€™s great that youโ€™re searching for some different resources and as such, I just wanted to share a few things that may be helpful for you ๐Ÿ’œ

The first resource that comes to mind is an organisation called Beyond Blue ๐Ÿ˜Š

Essentially, Beyond Blue provides support for people who are affected by depression, anxiety and suicide and as such, Iโ€™ve just shared the link to the section on their website where youโ€™ll be able to find some information about depression ๐Ÿ’œ

https://www.beyondblue.org.au/mental-health/depression

Mental Health First Aid Australia also have some great resources and as such, theyโ€™ve put together some really comprehensive information about depression ๐Ÿ’œ

Black Dog Institute is another really great website that has a wealth of information about depression, bipolar disorder and PTSD ๐Ÿ’œ

Phoenix Australia provides a variety of information in relation to trauma and PTSD - including how to support someone who is living with this particular mental health condition ๐Ÿ’œ

https://www.phoenixaustralia.org/your-recovery/effects-of-trauma-ptsd/

Bipolar Australia not only provide information and resources about bipolar disorder, but they also provide some information about a couple of support groups too ๐Ÿ’œ

The Alcohol and Drug Foundation (ADF) provides a variety of information in relation to alcohol and other drugs which may also be helpful for you ๐Ÿ’œ

According to their website, ADF have the largest and most up-to-date alcohol and other drugs library in Australia and as such, they provides free access to a wide range of specialist print and online resources, including books, full-text articles from 11,000+ journals and databases ๐Ÿ˜Š

As such, I thought that this may be a good place to start, as youโ€™ll be able to search for the information thatโ€™s important to you ๐Ÿ’œ

I really hope that this helps you a little bit ๐Ÿ’œ

Take kind and gentle care of yourself,

ShiningStar ๐Ÿ’œ
