Re: NBN
Hi @jamesle2015
Our suburb was one of the first to be connected to NBN.
My opinion is that we are being convinced we have to have NBN but I haven't noticed any difference to what I had before. Personally, just another lemon.
And as the roll-out continues, cheaper materials are being used.
But that's just one opinion, mine. Don't know if one pays more if the speeds are any different.

Re: NBN
I have been checking my download speed for Optus
wireless and sometimes it's a bit under 1MB/s sometimes over....but it's good enough
When we get NBN have to pay more ....
But the landline should be working well
once it's done....whenever that will be sometime this
year I hope
With my ISP I have been on the cheap one for years
but the speed wasn't good.....before it stopped working there were dropouts....
I called the ISP a couple of months back and the bloke
changed the 'profile' and I had to plug it straight into
the phone plug
This Optus wireless cost about $120 for 90 days ..$59 for the wireless modem attached to laptop

Re: NBN
Hi @jamesle2015,
I was lucky enough to get the original fibre to the home NBN. I pay for the highest speed and tend to get pretty close to that. I was perfectly happy with my old ADSL 2, but I do notice the faster speed when I'm skyping and also when I upload videos.
