I recently broke my ankle and I'm incredibly sad because now I can't do anything, work, look after my grandbaby, anything! I live with my 81 year old Dad who is wonderful but I hate being helpless and I cried today in front of him. Not sure how I'm going to cope mentally for the time it takes to heal.

Do you have any other support, like some friends or family? 

You can call the SANE Helpline on 1800 187 263 for short counselling help, open 10am - 8pm. 

Also, a handy forum tip to tag someone is to type @ and then click on their name in the drop-down box - that way they'll get a notification that you've replied to them.

You share remains me most of the time I am not grateful for every part of my body which I take for granted message like this remember me how important they are and how they can impact in my mental health.
